Benchmark ITS, LLC ("Benchmark", "we", "our", or "us") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have when you visit benchmarkits.com or use the software platforms we provide, including ADVANSYS, ContinuED, and MYHSE.

Information we collect

We collect information in the following ways:

• Information you provide. When you contact us, request a demo, or correspond with our team, you may share your name, email, phone number, organization, and the contents of your message.
• Program and student data. When your organization uses Benchmark software, the platform processes student, class, enrollment, assessment, and reporting data on behalf of your program. Benchmark acts as a service provider for that data under your organization's agreement with us.
• Automatically collected information. When you visit our websites we may automatically collect technical information such as IP address, browser type, device type, pages visited, and referring URLs through standard server logs and analytics tools.

How we use information

• To provide, support, and improve our software and websites
• To respond to inquiries and deliver requested information
• To produce required federal, state, and program reporting on behalf of customers
• To maintain the security and integrity of our systems
• To comply with applicable laws and contractual obligations

Student data & FERPA

Benchmark handles education records on behalf of educational agencies and institutions in accordance with the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA), the National Reporting System for Adult Education, and other applicable federal and state laws. We do not sell student data, and we do not use student data to target advertising.

How we share information

We share information only as needed to operate our services, including with:

• Authorized users within your organization based on the permissions you configure
• Partner agencies for data matching and reporting that you direct or authorize
• Trusted service providers who help us deliver our software (e.g., hosting, support tools), under contractual confidentiality and security obligations
• Government agencies when required by law or to comply with valid legal process

Data security

We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect the information we process, including access controls, encryption in transit, and tiered, multi-level permissions within our applications. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work continuously to protect your information.

Data retention

We retain customer and program data for as long as your organization's agreement with Benchmark requires, and as needed to meet legal, accounting, or reporting obligations. Website inquiry data is retained only as long as necessary to respond and follow up.

Cookies & analytics

Our websites may use cookies and similar technologies to remember preferences and understand site usage. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling cookies may affect site functionality.

Your choices

You may contact us to request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information you have provided through our websites. For data managed within our software platforms on behalf of your organization, please contact your program administrator first; Benchmark will assist your organization in fulfilling such requests as a service provider.

Children's privacy

Our websites are intended for adults and educational program staff. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children through our public websites. Student data is processed only as authorized by the educational agency or institution that engages Benchmark.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. Material changes will be communicated through our website or by other appropriate means.
